PURPOSE:To obtain the subject product having excellent flexibility, etc., free from skin layer by molding and coagulating a mixture of viscose, reinforcing fibers and Glauber's salt with a concentrated salt solution and carrying out regeneration of cellulose and washing out of Glauber's salt by acid treatment. CONSTITUTION:First, viscose is mixed with reinforcing fibers and Glauber's salt to give a mixture, which is molded and cryslatline coagulated by using a concentrated salt solution (preferably >=20wt.% of ammonium chloride solution). Then the coagulated material is treated with an acid, cellulose xanthate in the viscose is regenerated into cellulose and Glauber's salt is washed out. The method by acid treatment is preferable as the regeneration in terms of rapid regeneration and washing out of Glauber's salt. Hydrochloric acid or citric acid is preferable as the acid used for acid treatment and the concentration of the acid is preferably 0.5-1wt.%. |
