PURPOSE:To enable reproducing playing automatically with one reproducing unit respectively, by identifying the video disc or audio PCM disc through the identifying signal inserted in the vertical blanking period in advance. CONSTITUTION:The identifying signal identifying whether audio PCM or video signal is present at the horizontal period corresponding part specifically in the vertical blanking period of television signal is recorded in the audio PCM disc or video disc. The signal recorded in the disc 20 is converted into electric signal with the signal detection unit 21. The audio signal recorded in FM modulation is demodulated with the FM demodulator 31. Video signal and audio PCM are demodulated with the FM demodulator 24, the identification signal is detected with the code detector 27 and it is fed to the selection circuit 33, and the audio signal P and audio signal V converted with the PCM decoder 31 are selected and outputted. |
