PURPOSE: To permit smooth transfer at a transfer floor by causing control means for lower stories and control means for higher stories to allocate the car of one group control elevator to the transfer floor when a transfer button is pressed. CONSTITUTION: A high-rise building is provided with a group control elevator 1 for lower stories and a group control elevator 2 for higher stories and users can get on both of the elevators from lobbies 3. A transfer button 8 to be pushed when moving from the lower to higher story is provided above a landing button 7. The transfer button 8 is pressed so that when the group control elevator 1 for lower stories is used and its car for lower stories arrives at a transfer story 4, a car for higher stories of the group control elevator 2 for higher stories is waiting at the transfer station 4. This permits smooth transfer at the transfer floor. |
