PURPOSE:To manage food materials in a home by the relishable periods, display the material to be preferentially consumed among the stored materials and support the preparation of a cooking menu to consume the bought materials without loss. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus for supporting the preparation of a cooking menu is provided with an inputting means for inputting the name, the quantity and the relishable period of a cooking material, a memory means to store the information inputted by the inputting means and a relishable period displaying means to display the information stored in the memory means in the expiring order of the relishable period. The apparatus enables to guide the buying of materials taking consideration of the relishable periods for the preparation of a food using designated materials combined with materials stored in the home by registering the quantities and the relishable periods of cooking materials in the home. The stored materials in the home can be consumed without loss.
