PURPOSE:To provide a multicolor plastic molding wherein a pattern is enriched in wear resistance and design properties and registering precision between patterns having different color is excellent with good productivity. CONSTITUTION:A light transmission dyeing ink layer is formed on the surface of a light transmissive plastic molding 1. Heat migratory dye contained in the light transmission dyeing ink layer is migrated to the surface layer of the light transmissive plastic molding by heating and a light transmission dyeing part 2 is formed. Thereby the light transmission dyeing ink layer is removed. Then a masking layer having area smaller than the light transmission dyeing part 2 is formed. A shading dyeing ink layer is formed on the surface of the light transmissive plastic molding 1. Heat migratory dye contained in the shading dyeing ink layer is migrated to the surface layer of the part necessitating shading in the light transmissive plastic molding 1 by heating. Thereafter the shading ink layer and the masking layer are removed and the shading dyeing part 3 of a blank pattern is formed. Thereby a multicolor plastic molding is obtained in which the light transmission dyeing part 2 appears in the blank pattern of the shading dyeing part 3. |
