PURPOSE:To provide a new xylanase, method for producing the xylanase, microbes capable of producing the xylanase, method for treating pulp using the xylanase, and method for producing xylose or xylooligosacharides using this enzyme. CONSTITUTION:The new xylanase obtainable from the cultured product by Bacillus bacteria, the method for producing the xylanase by separating it from th above-mentioned cultured product, the Bacillus sp. SD902 strain capable of producing the xylanase, the method for treating pulp by making the xylanase act on pulp, and the method for producing xylose or xylooligosaccharides by making this enzyme act on xylan. |
