PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic accelerating type ink jet recorder which is little influenced from a kind of an ink solution and variation in physical properties, and can record highly precisely by a method wherein discharge of the ink is enabled to be easily controlled without necessitating a high voltage pulse generation circuit requiring a high costed high tension proof IC. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 2 bearing an electrostatic latent image, and an ink solution discharge part 1 which is provided, in a non-contact state, opposed to the recording medium 2, and has an ink holding part 13, at least one counter electrodes 15 provided so as to be immersed in the ink solution in the solution holding part, and an opening part 18 for discharging the ink solution are equipped to a recorder. The ink solution is discharged from the opening part 18 by an electric field between the electrostatic latent image on the recording medium and the counter electrode 15. |
