INK FOR INK JET PRINTING, METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR PRINTING BY USING THE INK, AND PRINTED MATERIAL THEREBY OBTAINED

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject ink which is used for a fabric containing cellulose fibers and/or polyamide fibers and is excellent in dyeing characteristics, delivery characteristics and long-term stability and to provide a good printed material by ink jet printing using the ink. CONSTITUTION:At least 10-2,000ppm phosphate ions (PO4<3->) are incorporated into the liquid medium of ink for ink jet printing which contains 5-30wt.% reactive dye having a vinylsulfo group and/or a monochlorotriazine group and an aqueous liquid medium, and polyphosphoric acid ions having a degree of polymerization of at least 3 are appropriately incorporated therein in addition. The obtained ink is used to print a fabric with an ink jet recorder.
