PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compsn. excellent in resistance to degradation of gel and in rust prevention by compounding water, an inorg. salt, guar gum, and a benzotriazole compd. or its salt. CONSTITUTION:This cold-reserving compsn. is prepd. by compounding water, an inorg. salt (e.g. NaNO3 or NaCl), guar gum as a gelling agent, at least one corrosion preventive selected from benzotriazole compds. and their salts, and watersol. auxiliary additives. The benzotriazole compd. is made water-sol. by converting it into a salt such as an amine salt, a potassium salt, a sodium salt, or an acid salt. |
