<p>PURPOSE:To surely connect a tube communicating with a sphygmomanometer body and to prevent air leakage by mounting this tube on a projecting rib provided at the front end of an air nozzle projecting, from the cuff band for a sphygmomanometer and clamping and holding the tube with a nozzle cover attached to the cuff band. CONSTITUTION:The cuff band 1 is wound around the arm by means of surface fasteners mounted at both ends of the cuff band 1 at the time of measuring the blood pressure. The projecting rib 4 is formed over the entire part of the outer periphery at the front end of the air nozzle 2 projecting from the cuff band 1. The tube 5 communicating with the sphygmomanometer body is fitted into the projecting rib 4. The tube 5 is clamped and held from outside the projecting rib by the nozzle cover 3 mounted to the cuff band 1 by an adhesive. As a result, the tube is surely connected and the air leakage is prevented. The blood pressure is thus exactly measured.</p> |
