<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method, by which zinc-containing dust produced in a steelmaking process is recovered as a iron source for using in the steelmaking process and as high concn. zinc-containing dust. CONSTITUTION:In the method for recovering the zinc-containing dust, steelmaking equipment composed of a pretreatment furnace 1 for molten iron and a decarburizing furnace 11 for pretreated molten iron, are used. The zinc- containing dust is added into only the pretreatment furnace 1 for molten iron and pretreated, and the produced exhaust gas is recovered as the zinc-containing dust by using an exhaust gas treating system 7 exclusively used for a pretreatment furnace. The dust in the exhaust gas produced at the time of decarburization treatment of the molten iron pretreated in the decarburizing furnace 11 is recovered by using an exhaust gas treating system 17 exclusively used for the decarburizing furnace and the zinc-containing dust is suitably circulated into the pretreatment furnace 1 for molten iron.</p> |
