PRODUCTION OF BONDED NYLON/RUBBER COMPOSITE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To bond nylon 11 or 12 to a rubber dynamically and firmly so as to give a bond of strength not decreasing even at high temperature. CONSTITUTION:Nylon 11 or 12 is laminated with an unvulcanized hydrogenated acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer rubber composition containing a methacrylic acid/zinc oxide mixture or zinc methacrylate and an organic peroxide or laminated with an unvulcanized rubber composition based on a rubber selected from the group consisting of butyl rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, acrylic rubber, hydrin rubber and acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer rubber through the unvulcanized hydrogenated copolymer rubber composition, and the obtained laminate is heated to the melting point of the nylon or above.
