PURPOSE:To increase the energy density, and to improve the charge and discharge property, and a large current discharge property, by making the form of a lithium complex oxide of the active material of a positive electrode in a spherical form or similar to the spherical form. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 6 consists of lithium, a lithium alloy, or a compound to store and emit the lithium ion, and in a positive electrode, a lithium complex oxide powder shown as the general expression LixNiO2 (0<x<1.1) is used as its active material. And an electrolyte solution made by dissolving an electrolyte in a nonaqueous solvent is provided, and the powder of the lithium complex oxide has the form of a spherical form or similar to the spherical form. As a result, the specific area of the powder surface is increased, so as to increase the amount of the adsorbed liquid, the amount of the active material is increased, and the energy density can be improved. Consequently, the charge and discharge property, and the large current discharge property are improved. |
