PURPOSE:To hold an inserted blind rivet so as not to drop by fitting an elastic ring slidably and elastically holding a core shaft of the blind rivet into the inserting hole for blind rivet. CONSTITUTION:In a nose piece part in a riveter composed of a cylindrical body 8, a jaw case 4 inserted in this cylindrical body so as to freely advanced/ retracted and one pair of jaws 5, the elastic ring 3 slidably and elastically holding the spindle of the blind rivet 2 is fitted into he inserting hole for blinding rivet. By this method, as the blind rivet 2 fitted to the nose piece part 2 is held with the elastic ring 3, the blind ring is not dropped out. Further, in the case of using a ring packing with inner diameter lip as the elastic ring 3, since the downward movement of the blind rivet is restrained and the upward movement thereof is actuated with reduced pressing force, the fitting of the blind rivet is easy and hardly dropped out. Therefore, a suction device by the air is unnecessary and the device can be simplified. |
