PURPOSE:To extend a slurry pipe for use in a slurry shield construction method without requiring manpower, in a manner permitting continuous adjustment of slurry pressure. CONSTITUTION:Between stator flanges 15, 16 wherein a connection cylinder 35 able to receive a slurry feed pipe 7A is provided on one side and a movable pipe 12 being a discharge part is provided on the other side, there is provided a rotary body 14 having a plurality of sheath pipes 17 each of which can accommodate a single pipe 9 being a slurry pipe, so that by rotating the body 14, a single pipe 9 is connected to the slurry feed pipe 7A. While the interior 17s of a specified sheath pipe 17 is being isolated by a plug 29 and open/close cylinder 32, slurry 20 of the interior 17s of the pipe 17 is once withdrawn by means of a slurry recovery mechanism 28 and a cap plug 31 is removed and a new single pipe 9' is inserted into the interior 17s and thereafter the slurry 20 is returned into the pipe 9'. |
