PURPOSE:To obtain the resin particles having excellent heat resistance, excellent solvent resistance and a sharp particle diameter distribution by making them from a specified crosslinked resin to give specified properties thereto. CONSTITUTION:The particles are made of a crosslinked resin obtained by impregnating 1-95wt.% polyester resin (e.g. a polyester based on terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, 5-sodiosulfoisophthalic acid, ethylene glycol, neopentyl glycol and fumaric acid) with 5-99wt.% vinyl monomer (e.g. styrene) and polymerizing the monomer and has a particle diameter distribution having a volume-mean particle diameter D of 0.5-100mum, a content of particles with particle diameters of 0.5D-2.0D of 80wt.% or above and a coefficient of variation of 30% or below. |
