PURPOSE:To keep the chlorine concentration of at least coolant below a fixed level without blowing out a large volume of coolant and to treat the oil content of the blowing out coolant so that it satisfies the environmental standard, in a hot rolling equipment for iron and steel material for reforming the maintainability of the equipment and improving the performance therefor by using water soluble oil as the coolant. CONSTITUTION:A ion exchange pure water device 11 to manufacture pure water low in chlorine concentricity used as makeup water of coolant and a primary water treating equipment 15 and a secondary water treating equipment 16 to purify coolant blown out in order to keep the chlorine concentration of the whole coolant below a fixed value are prepared in the hot finishing rolling equipment for iron and steel material provided with a finishing mill 2A, headers 3, a scale pit 5, a sedimentation basin 6, a filter 7, a cooling tower 8, an oil feeder 10, a coolant injector 13. |
