<p>PURPOSE: To remarkably improve safety by a method wherein when in a case of a situation, such as a too short or a too long combination input time, a rotation amount of a dial exceeding a given amount, whether a stop is effected for a given time during reversing of a dial, being not matched with the operation condition of a lock, a lock is not released or a lock is brought into an unoperable state. CONSTITUTION: A dial 14 is coupled to a rotor 28 and a retreat drive 30. The rotor 28 forms a magnetic member with a magnetic segment 32. A rotating electric panel is generated by a shaft part 20 and the rotation speed and the rotation direction of a dial 14 are indicated on a microprocessor 44. When a combination number is inputted by rotation of the dial 14, the combination is compared with a proper combination by the microprocessor 44. When the two combinations coincide with each other, a signal is transmitted to a motor, a latch member 48 and a bolt retreat member 50 are combined together, and a bolt and the dial 14 are intercoupled through mechanical coupling. In this case, the bolt is retracted to open a seal body. This constitution eminently improves safety of the lock.</p> |
