PURPOSE: To improve reliability by detecting an engine rotation output speed, a torque converter output speed and a transmission output speed, and deciding and outputting performance parameters by detecting a shift operation starting state according to a detecting result. CONSTITUTION: Respective rotation output speeds of an engine 112, a torque converter 114 and a transmission 116 are respectively detected by sensors 118, 120, 122 to be inputted to an electronic transmission controller 106. The electronic transmission controller 106 detects a shift operation starting state on the basis of these detecting information. A set of performance parameters for deciding the shift timing of the torque converter 114 and the transmission 116 are decided according to the result to be outputted to a monitor 108 to be selectively stored as a function of a trapping factor. |
