PURPOSE: To realize the locking in which a tool block or a clamping plate is not deformed by the clamping force or the loosening force by improving a structure of a guide means where the tool block supported through the guide means is clamped to the clamping plate such as a carriage, etc., of a machine tool. CONSTITUTION: In an automatic lathe, this clamping device 10 to rapidly change a tool is provided with a rectangular tool block 11, and the tool block 11 is provided with a lower clamping surface 12a which is placed on an upper clamping surface of a clamping plate 13 as a bed plate fixed to a carriage 14. The tool block 11 is provided with a guide rail 17, and the guide rail 17 guides the movement of the tool block 11 in cooperation with a groove 18 provided in the clamping plate 13. In the device, the guide rail 17 is formed in approximately semi-circular section on a plate spring 20 integratedly and continuously provided on one end part of the tool block 11, and guarantees the slide of the tool block 11 without play. The torsion of the plate spring 20 is regulated by an adjustment screw 21. |
