PURPOSE:To provide a moulded cam structure for a sorter, and a manufacturing method for a spiral cam which is actuated smoothly to be calm. CONSTITUTION:A spiral cam to be employed for a movable pin type sorter suitable for a printer is made of low friction plastic, and normally its spiral angle is hard to be moulded in a single die cavity to generate noise and/or incorrect force unless a die separation line is smooth. This rotary cam 5 is formed of a pair of half bodies 15 compositely to be combined with each other on a vertical line 16 only on one side of a cam shaft 9, and its surface is either cylindrical or of a negative spiral angle except for a surface on an extended straight line extended in the axial direction of a cam part, and forming a surface 25 extended in the axial direction which is short at an outer side end part of an outer diameter. |
