PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, comprising an unsaturated polyester, a low shrinking agent and a prescribed amount of a filler containing thermosetting resin powder blended therein, excellent in thickening properties and molding operation efficiency and useful as a sheetlike molding material, etc. CONSTITUTION:The resin composition comprises (A) an unsaturated polyester, (B) a low shrinking agent (e.g. polyvinyl acetate or polystyrene) and (C) a filler containing thermosetting resin powder in an amount of 5-75vol.% based on the total volume of the filler (preferably calcium carbonate, etc.). Furthermore, the sheetlike molding material is obtained by the presence of this composition together with a fiber reinforcing material (preferably glass fiber having 1/6 to 2 inches length) between two films. |
