PURPOSE:To improve the secrecy of the content of a transmitted message in a pager with a display in a paging system which calls an individual by radio. CONSTITUTION:When a receiving part 11 receives data having a random number and a ciphered message between the identification number and check data of the pager from a radio base station, a comparing part 12 confirms matching between the preliminarily held identification number and the identification number of the received data, and outputs the data, and an inspecting part 13 inspects the output data by inputted check data. A cipher key generating part 14 extracts and inputs the random number from the inspecting part 13 which confirms the normal data by the inspection, extracts an identification assurance key preliminarily held in an identification assurance key holding part 18, and generates a cipher key, a cipher decoding part 15 decodes the ciphered message extracted from the inspecting part 13 by the cipher key, and a display part 16 displays the decoded message. |
