PURPOSE:To provide the Hangul display device for displaying and outputting a Hangul character by combining a vowel and a consonant to a display area divided into four. CONSTITUTION:In a character generator ROM 5, a character font of a vowel and a consonant for constituting a Hangul is stored in accordance with a character code, and when display character data is inputted to an input/output circuit 2, an instruction decoder circuit 3 analyzes it, and writes the character code of a vowel and a consonant for constituting a display character, in an address corresponding to a display position in a liquid crystal display part 8 of its character in a display data RAM 4. The liquid crystal display part 8 is provided with 10 pieces of liquid crystal display panels, and each liquid crystal display panel is divided equally into four in the vertical and the horizontal directions. To each display area thereof divided equally into four, the image of the character font stored in the character code is outputted, and one character of a Hangul obtained by combining the character fonts of a vowel and a consonant is displayed and outputted to the liquid crystal display panel. |
