PURPOSE:To smoothly add a ruled line to a table by generating new ruled line data in which the ruled lines added to an object ruled line group is distributed equally between the minimum coordinate and the maximum coordinate. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 accesses a vertical ruled line data storage part 3a and a horizontal ruled line data storage part 3b, extracts a ruled line in this area, obtains the minimum (x) coordinate (xmin=2) and the maximum (x) coordinate (xmax=14) from in an extracted vertical ruled line and an additional ruled line L (object ruled line group), and the CPU 1 derives the (x) coordinate of each ruled line by dividing it equally between the minimum (x) coordinate and the maximum (x) coordinate. Subsequently, the CPU 1 rewrites the contents of an (x) coordinate management table of the vertical ruled line data storage part 3a so as to become this new (x) coordinate, and next, derives an intersection group of a vertical ruled line and a horizontal ruled line, and changes coordinates, etc., of the left upper point and an end point in a cell data storage part 3c. As a result, a prescribed table is displayed on a CRT 5, and a user can insert a character into, for instance, a cell of a third column. |
