摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten inspection time, and improve accuracy by detecting a flaw while moving vertically and horizontally a water tank holding a probe in the water, and automatizing judgement of a result. CONSTITUTION:When a boiler tube 3 is set between rollers 1a and 1b of a pinch roller 1, the tube 3 is driven by the roller 1a, and rotation is started. A flaw detecting water tank 4 is raised, and is set under the tube 3, and the water tank 4 is driven in the tube axis direction, and flaw detection is started. The water tank 4 is driven by a dimension necessary for the flaw detection, and the flaw detection is finished. After it is finished, the water tank 4 is lowered, and the rotation of the tube 3 is stopped, and afterwards, setting of the roller 1 is released from the tube 3. Next, a pinch roller stand 2 is lowered, and the tube 3 is carried out in the axial direction by an external device. Flaw detecting operation is controlled automatically by a control unit 8, and obtained flaw detection data is judged automatically by a personal computer 9, and judgement display of success or failure is displayed on a CRT7, and automatic discrimination is made by issuing a judging signal.
