PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of recording a high quality image at a low cost by completely suppressing a discharge phenomenon occurring at the time of peeling a recording paper from a carrying belt. CONSTITUTION:In the image forming device provided with a rotary photosensitive drum 1, the carrying belt 9 carrying the recording paper 15 in an electrostatically attracting state and transferring a visual image on the photosensitive drum 1 onto the recording paper 15 on a transfer part and a fixing means 16 fixing an unfixed visual image transferred on the recording paper 15. the sudden transition of a charge on the recording paper 15 just before being peeled from the carrying belt 9 is prevented and a charge transition preventing means composed of a driving roller 10 grounded via a capacitance member 14 and a charge slow releasing means slowly releasing charge on the recording paper 15 just after being peeled from the carrying belt 9 and composed of a guide member 17 provided with a resistor layer 18 on a top surface are provided.
