PURPOSE:To eliminate the complication of wiring and solve EMI problems by fitting the logical electronic circuit of a computer terminal onto a single circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A power source 22 supplies necessary electric power to a 1st circuit board 15 and a 2nd circuit board 20, and a monitor display device 26. The output from a video amplifier 14 is applied to a CRT 26 together with the deflection signal from a deflecting circuit 24 to generate an image included in a RAM 12. A single EMI shield 30 surrounds the two circuit boards 15 and 20. The luminance, contrast, and position signals and other display control signals inputted through an interface device 18 are processed in digital format by a CPU 11. Those display control signals are inputted to a digital potentiometer 19 to generate an analog display signal, which is inputted to the video amplifier 14.
