<p>PURPOSE:To detect minute partial discharge precisely caused by insulation deterioration. CONSTITUTION:A gas insulated switchgear 1 has a potential detector 8 and a filter 10 which extract the fluctuating component of the potential signal between two external sheath walls 2 isolated electrically with insulators 3, and a malfunction detecting and processing device 16 which calculates the distortion factor of the waveform of the fluctuating component extracted by the filter 10 at the time of diagnosis, and outputs an alarm when the distortion factor at the time of the diagnosis is that of the wave form of the fluctuating component extracted by the filter 10 when the insulation condition of the gas insulated switchgear 1 is normal, and exceeds a specified relation against a reference value found beforehand.</p> |
