<p>PURPOSE:To execute remote control corresponding to controlled units without work for increasing the number of operation keys on a remote controller even when controlled units are extended or for storing a command signal which is to be transmitted to the extended units. CONSTITUTION:A bi-directional remote control system which transmits/receives an information signal between the controlled units 2, 3, 4 5 and 6 and the remote controller 9 for operating them is provided with an identification signal generation means generating an identification signal showing the types of the controlled units 2-6, and a transmission means transmitting the identification signal generated in response to an identification signal transfer command. The remote controller 9 gives the identification signal transfer command, receives the identification signal, displays an operation command corresponding to the received identification signal and transmits an operation signal for operating the controlled units 2-6 in accordance with the displayed operation command.</p> |
