VOLTAGE SUPPLY CIRCUIT AND INTERNAL VOLTAGE REDUCING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To provide an internal voltage reducing circuit which can supply the internal voltage of a fixed level regardless of the operating temperature. CONSTITUTION:A level shifter circuit 50 of an internal voltage reducing circuit 1 includes a P-channel MOS transistor TR 501 which constructs a resistance component R1 and a resistance 502 which constructs a resistance component R2. The temperature coefficient of the component R1 is set larger than that of the component R2 so that the output voltage of the circuit 50 has the negative temperature characteristic. If the reference voltage generated by a reference voltage Vref generating circuit 10 drops in a high temperature operating state, the output voltage of the circuit 50 also drops. Thus the change of the internal voltage VintP caused by the change of the operating temperature is compensated.
