PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having excellent quality Q, high insulation resistance, and large dielectric breakdown strength by adding a specific quantity of Nb2O5 to a composition made of MgO, TiO2, La2O3 at the specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric ceramic composition is expressed by the general formula xMgO-yTiO2-zLa2O3, where (x), (y), (z) indicate mold, x+y+z=1, and values of (x), (y), (z) are within the range of mol% surrounded by straight lines around points (a), (b), (c) shown by the table. Nb2O5 of 0.5-10.0wt.% is added to the composition of 100 pts.wt. Ta2O5 of 0.8-16.0 pts.wt., or V2O5 of 0.3-6.0 pts.wt., or two kinds or more of 0.001-0.020 mol.pts. selected from Nb2O5, Ta2O5, V2O5 can be added in place of Nb2O5. |
