PURPOSE:To eliminate uneven image density at the time of printing even when a film is either a negative or positive. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a control means 16 for electrostatic latent image potential distribution, controlling image exposure quantity so as to positively control the contrast of an electrostatic latent image to the image end part from almost the center of an image as reference along the axial direction of an image carrier and the control means 16 can be switched in accordance with process which is electrostatic latent image forming process for reversal developing or electrostatic latent image forming process for normal developing. |
