PURPOSE:To provide a picture processor with high parallelism independent of the number of picture elements. CONSTITUTION:The picture element 100 includes a total curvature calculating part 102 for calculating the total curvature K of each picture element by using a picture information signal sent from a picture information inputting part 101, setting up the value of the picture element to '1' when the K is positive and setting up the picture element value to '0' when the K is not positive, a mean curvature calculating part 103 for calculating the mean curvature H of each picture element by using the picture information signal sent from the input part 101, setting up the value of the picture element to '1' when the H is negative and setting up the picture element value to '0' when the K is not negative, an AND operation part 104 for computing AND between output signals from the calculating parts 102, 103 in each picture element, and a median filter 105 for removing an independent point included in an output signal of the computing part 104. |
