PURPOSE:To obtain a desired copy by a simple method in the case of folding a transfer paper in two, and to improve the efficiency of postprocessing such as paper folding, sorting and stapling. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device performs multiple copying where an image is transferred while arranging the image on the front side and the back side of the transfer paper 18 in the feeding order of the original P when an electrostatic latent image is formed on a photosensitive body 2 on the basis of the original P consecutively fed on an original platen by a feeding means from cassettes 19 and 20 and a visual image is transferred on the transfer paper. In the case of selecting a mode in which copying is performed from the one-side original so that the image is arranged on the front and the back of the transfer papers 18 and 18', the carrying condition of the transfer papers 18 and 18' is set so that the copying position of a first page in the feeding order of the original P to be copied is selected either the front or the back direction of the transfer papers 18 and 18'. Therefore, the first page or the last page of the original P is copied on the front side PF or on the rear side PF of the transfer paper 18, or only the first page or the last page of the original P is copied on the transfer paper 18', so that a book cover and a back cover are formed. |
