Device intended to vent a pressurised vessel in the event of an abrupt increase in the pressure inside the said vessel, this device which constitutes a discharge valve being characterised in that the said valve (10) consists of a system of louvres, each louvre (12, 12') being articulated on a pin and the opening of the said louvres being obtained by the movement of a driving mass (20) released by the movement of a bolt (22), and in that a pressure-detecting system is provided which causes the said louvres to open under the effect of the movement of the said driving mass when the pressure in the vessel exceeds a predetermined threshold, this pressure-detecting system consisting of a capsule subjected to the pressure of the vessel and acting on the said bolt in order to release it when the value of the said threshold is exceeded. <IMAGE>
