<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the dead volume of a valve module to shorten purging time, and prevent the leakage by providing two cutoff valves having openings, respectively, and simultaneously opened and closed, and an extracting valve forming their connecting part and communicating with both the cutoff valves, and opening and closing the valves by a flat seal means. CONSTITUTION: A valve module 33 is formed of an internal pneumatic actuator, an inlet cutoff valve 33b, an outlet cutoff valve 33c, and an extracting valve 33d arranged in the connecting part of both the cutoff valves 33b, 33c, and each of the valves is allowed to communicate with an inlet port, an outlet port 18a and a vent port 17, respectively. A flat seal is used for the opening and closing of the valves, and the flat seal is opened and closed by pressing it from both sides by the pneumatic actuator, so that a sample liquid is prevented from being leaked by the wear or deterioration of the valve mechanism. In selection, both the cutoff valves 33b, 22c are simultaneously opened and closed, and the communicating extracting valve 33d is blocked when both the cutoff valves 33b, 33c are opened, and opened when they are closed. In purging, all the valves 33b-33d are opened. Since no dead volume is present in a passage or the valve mechanism, purging time can be shortened.</p> |
