APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USE IN CDMA SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To enable easy addition to an existing CDMA system by coupling a receive signal by using a code sequence as a function of correlation between code coefficient sequences relating to a system user and other system users respectively. CONSTITUTION: In each symbol period, (m) samples of a receive signal are generated at a lead 101. Those samples are inputted to a coupling device 102 and multiplied by one different code coefficient of (n) different code sequences. Those sequences are inputted to the coupling device 102. A code sequence generating device 104 inputs (n) code sequences to the device 102. Respective replicas of the code sequences are provided by code sequence generating devices 105-1 to 105-n. The outputs of the devices 105 are inputted to a matrix generating device 108, whose matrix is inputted to target function generating devices 107-1 to 107-n. The devices 107 execute specific processes to optimize a target function for the user.
