PURPOSE:To prevent the exciting current of a rotating transformer from having a bad influence on the control of a field current in a brushless exciting device wherein the rotating transformer whose secondary winding is installed on the side of the shaft of a synchronous motor and whose primary winding is installed on the side of a stator, a voltage control means which applies a variable AC voltage to the primary winding and a rectifier which rectifies an AC voltage generated in the secondary winding and which excites a field winding by a direct current are provided. CONSTITUTION:Current detection means 6, 14, 15, 16 which detect, in a simulation manner, the exciting current of a rotating transformer from the applied voltage of a primary winding and which output a value having subtracted the exciting current from the detection current of the primary winding and a current control means 8 which controls a voltage control means according to the deviation between a current reference and output signals of the current detection means 6, 14, 15, 16 are installed. |
