The invention describes a liquid-level indicator 1, comprising a float body 21 and an indicator member 22 supported by the float body, characterized in that the float body 21 and the indicator member 22 are formed as a single unit, and in that the float body 21 has a concave chamber 26 which is open on the side remote from the indicator member 22. During operation, the float/indicator member 20, which is formed as a single unit, continues to float on an air bubble 30 which is enclosed in the concave chamber 26.
