PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic component having excellent magnetic characteristics, heat resistance and adapted for surface mounting by providing core containing a specific amount of composition made of fine crystalline grains, and magnetic field generating means. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic component contains Fe, Cu and M (M is one or more types of elements selected from a group consisting of Nb, W, Ta, Zr, Hf, Ti and Mo) as indispensable elements. Further, it includes a core made of at least 50% of fine crystalline grains of its composition, and magnetic field generating means for generating a magnetic field in the core. The component has constant magnetostriction and high permeability, and scarcely generates induction magnetic anisotropy and scarcely generate fixing of a magnetic wall. Thus, it can be used for a choke coil to be soldered. |
