The female part (7) of the coupling comprises a component (9) having a central sleeve (9a) communicating with an end piece (9b) on which a steam duct (12) is engaged. This body (9) has several through-passages (13) each lined with a metal sleeve (14) connected to an electrical conductor (15). The male part (8) of the coupling comprises a body (18) having a central barrel (18a) intended to engage, when the parts of the coupling are assembled, in the sleeve (9a) of the female part (7), this barrel (18a) being connected to a duct (3). The body (18) has several metal pins (21) connected to electrical conductors (4) intended to plug into the sleeves (14). The male part (8) of the coupling further comprises a socket (16) in which the body (18) is housed and on which there is mounted, so that it can rotate, a ring (22) which has lugs (22a) which, when the two parts of the coupling are assembled, fasten in the manner of a bayonet fastening into internal projections (9c) which the body (9) of the female part (7) exhibits, in order to effect the assembly. <IMAGE>
