Antitheft device for motor vehicles

摘要

In order to create an antitheft device for motor vehicles having a brake pedal which can be actuated by the driver of the motor vehicle and is coupled to an operational operating means of the motor vehicle, the said antitheft device being very effective and yet being relatively simple to integrate into conventional vehicles, it is proposed that the pedal (1) be coupled to an actuating means which can be activated by means of a sensor system, and that the sensor system be actuable by characteristic means in such a way that in the event of unauthorised starting of the motor vehicle, it responds and initiates the actuating means (3) causing the pedal (1) to be transferred to the operating position (4) and the said operating position to be retained.
