PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation in switching functions of coated fiber groups on a wiring cable side by providing either of the end in the row direction on one surface side of a sleeve matrix of a selective connecting plate and the column direction on the other surface side with stationary ferrules, thereby making it possible to selectively connect the coated fiber groups of a base line cable on the one surface side and the other surface side of the connecting plate. CONSTITUTION:The two fiber groups 10, 20 are arranged on both sides of the selective connecting plate 1 and the ferrules 12, 22 are mounted on the coated optical fibers 11, 21 of the respective fiber groups 10, 20. Sleeves 2 which are the butt parts of the ferrules 12, 22 of the two fiber groups 10, 20 are arranged in a matrix form to the selective connecting plate 1. The respective ferrules of the fiber group 10A of the fiber groups 10 are movable in the row direction and the respective ferrules of the fiber groups 10 in the column direction. The respective ferrules of the fiber groups 10A and the respective ferrules of the fiber groups 20 are held by ferrule holding parts 13, 23. |
