PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of a fan, a heat exchanger due to a back flow of contaminated air by eliminating contamination of a mounting wall surface of an air conditioner with humid, mold. CONSTITUTION:A fan 16 is so contained in a casing 11 as to be divided into an upper suction passage 13 connected to suction ports 12a, 12b and a lower diffusing passage 15 connected to a diffuser 14, and an inverted V-shaped heat exchanger 19 having a lower drain pan 23 at a lower end of a forward oblique part 21 and an upper drain pan 24 at a lower end of a rear oblique part 22 is contained in the passage 13. A drain water channel 1 for connecting the pans 24, 23 is provided along a fan guide 26 of the fan 16 opposed to the passage 13 side. |
