摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently convert thermal energy at a low temperature such as exhaust heat as a heat source into electric energy by composing an anode made of graphite, metallic cathode, polyethylene glycol, and salts, and mixing graphite powder with the anode side. CONSTITUTION:A DC voltage is externally applied to be charged, and a generating element is generated as a secondary cell. Liquid polyethylene glycol 12 is stored in a metal vessel of an electrode 11, and salts are added to the glycol 12. An anode 13 made of graphite is dipped in the glycol 12, and fixed to a state opposed in parallel with a bottom of a cathode 11. The anode 13 is formed by enclosing graphite powder 15 with a separator 16 of graft sheet, etc. The powder 15 accelerates an electrode reaction to increase a generating current, and when it is further heated, the current is increased as compared with that at the time of the ambient temperature. Thus, at the time of discharging, electromotive force can be efficiently generated by using energy of low temperature such as exhaust heat, etc.
