In a warp-knitting machine, guide needles (1) are fastened to the guide bar, in each case with the interposition of two piezoelectric flexural transducers (5, 5a) which are mechanically in series and which, in the event of joint activation, bring about an oppositely directed flexion. A parallel racking of the guide needles (1) can thereby be achieved with a small space requirement. <IMAGE>
