Radial shaft-sealing ring

A radial shaft-sealing ring has a sealing element with a sealing lip composed of polytetrafluoroethylene for sealing off a thermally stressed sealing point on a shaft against the escape of lubricants. The sealing lip, which is bent against the shaft in the axial direction by a radial portion has a multi-turn thread-like groove on the shaft side for the purpose of producing an angular momentum that exerts a return-pumping action on lubricant which has reached the sealing point.
