SHOCK-RESISTANT THERMOPLASTIC MOLDING MATERIALS WITH HIGH IMPACT RESISTANCE

Thermoplastic molding materials with high impact resistance contain (A) 10 to 99 % by weight of a thermoplastic polymer from the group comprising the polyoxymethylenes, polyolefins, polyesters, polycarbonates, polystyrene, ABS, SAN, ASA or poly(meth)acrylates or mixtures thereof; (B) 0.5 to 80 % by weight of a thermoplastic polyurethane; (C) 0 to 50 % by weight of a fibrous or particulate filler; (D) 0 to 30 % by weight of usual additives and auxiliary products. The thermoplastic polyurethane (B) contains 0.5 to 50 % by weight, in relation to (B), of a plasticizer based on cresyl phosphates or esters of o-phthalic acid having the general formula (I), in which R<1>, R<2> stand for identical or different straight- or branched-chain alkyl residues with 1 to 15 C atoms, which C atoms may also be interrupted by 1 to 3 isolated oxygen atoms, or a cycloaliphatic or aromatic residue with up to 10 C atoms.
