<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the operating area of a mouse, and to use it when there is a place where the main body can be placed by pressing switches provided for an operating part simultaneously with the operation of the operating part, and performs pointing operation according to the changing amount of the operating part. CONSTITUTION:The external shape of an operating part 1 is a semi-sphere, and three switches 2 which can be pressed with one's fingers or the like simultaneously with the operation of the operating part 1 are provided for the surrounding of the front edge of the operating part 1. The operating part 1 is held on the upper part of a main body 3 so as to be movable, and the moving direction and moving amount of the operating part 1 is detected.
